PUDSEY BILLIARDS LEAGUE

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a great Christmas! - I certainly did. And I am very much looking forward to the New Year celebrations now!

We have reached the mid point of the season, and currently have 3 teams in joint leadership on 30 points each. Princeville B are breathing down their necks on 29 points, as can be seen from the League Table which is on the appropriate page.

Unfortunately, we still have 3 teams who have not completed their first half fixtures due to a couple of problems - a fault with the table light at Pudsey Congs and then Conservatives B getting lost on their way to Princeville A, and not arriving. Those 2 matches will be played in the new year.

The results of the team knockout 1st round proper are now on the appropriate page.

The Individual Merit preliminary round has also been drawn and some of those matches will have been played by now, but I am only aware of one result so far. In fact, I managed to beat Dave Bowers in my game just before Christmas. It was a bit of "sweet revenge event" for me, as Dave had beaten me in a Pudsey versus Princeville B match in the Bradford League only 2 nights before.
